Volunteers needed

Hi All.

Thank you for your support of Winchester City FC,  you may have heard that we have merged with the juniors to start on the road to creating a community club from U7 all the way to the 1st team and without you it will be a lot harder to make that happen. 

We do need a lot more help and support at the club from volunteers , we have a few people that do a lot so if you would like to get involved you would be welcome.

If you know someone that could help let them know as well. Thanks 

If you are able to offer some time on match days, midweek or weekends to assist with the gate, stewarding or teas, coffees then please get in touch.

If you think there is something else you could help with please let me know, all ideas are welcome (we may have it covered though).

We are in desperate need of someone to do the gate on Saturday.
Any volunteers?

Surely one of the committee could take this on.
I`ve volunteered in the past (moving the pitch sprinklers) and I will in the future but am not able to at the present time.
Surely taking money at the gate is more important than chatting with your mates for once.

You do realise of course that all the "committee" as you put it are voluntary and have other jobs/family commitments etc.

The club is run by volunteers. Nobody gets paid anything, in fact the opposite is true. It would be nice to get some more help from the fans and get more volunteers to take the pressure off the few.

All other clubs seem to have more volunteers for matchday duties than us. I have no idea why.

We still struggle from match to match for volunteers (1st team and U23).

We especially struggle for someone to do the turnstile, (until Clash hopefully recovers fully and returns).

Stewards during the game (including fetching the ball when it goes over the fence).

Volunteers to cook the players post match food.

Helping in the burger bar.

There is no requirement to commit to every game. Just a little help from time to time would be appreciated.
