Winchester drew their F A Cup tie with Reading City 1-1 and will have to replay on Tuesday. Reading City formed in 2001 as Highmoor Ibis following a merger of Highmoor and Ibis play in the Premier Division of the Combined Counties League (two divisions below Winchester's current level), but they have performed well in National cup competitions so far this season beating both Easington Sports and Shaftesbury in the F A Cup and thrashed Clanfield (Oxon) 6-0 in the F A Vase. However Winchester had a great chance to extend their lead when they were awarded a penalty, but York made a good save from Josh McCormick's spot kick.
